Site Coordinator

Location: Westwood Enrichment Hub, Westwood, MA

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced After School Site Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of The Westwood Enrichment Hub.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children and families, as well as the ability to facilitate a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee all aspects of the after school program, including supervision, curriculum, and family communication. 

  • Coordinate with program administrators, teachers, and staff to align program goals. 

  • Ensure compliance with all program regulations, including safety protocols, licensing requirements, and program policies.

  • Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to promote professional development and ensure effective program delivery.

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.

  • Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities and enrichment opportunities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and caregivers through regular communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in education or a related field).  

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience. 

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.

  • Knowledge of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and best practices in after school programming.

  • CPR/First Aid certification and background check clearance required.

Schedule

  • WEH is 5 days a week program

    • 3:30-6pm on regular school days

    • 12:15-6pm on early release days

    • 9am-4pm on select holidays/prof dev days

Pay Range: $50-60/hour
